Getting there
Yarrie Lake is on Yarrie Lake Road, just off the Newell Highway, between Narrabri and Wee Waa in north-west NSW.
Approximate travel times
Narrabri – 25 minutes
Wee Waa – 20 minutes
Moree – 1 hour 15 minutes
When to visit
The lake is open all year round.
Spring and autumn are ideal for camping and birdwatching, while summer brings long warm days and plenty of water activity.
